Occasionally, when we visit museums or galleries, we sometimes feel sorry for the docents who have to spend their entire days surrounded by uninteresting or boring works of art.

The docents working at the Savile Row branch of Hauser & Wirth won’t have that problem though as they’ll be accompanied, until January 2012, by Paul McCarthy’s mechanical sculpture ‘Train Mechanical’ featuring two caricatures of George W. sodomising two pigs.

It’s a provocative, extravagant, stimulating and bizarre piece of work, where the two heads of ‘Dubya’ spin around the room. ‘Train Mechanical’ will amaze the visitors and will certainly not bore the docents at they witness the amazement on the faces of the visitors who enter the gallery.

While you’re there, also check out the room behind the reception where a fascinating film is being screened, showing the creative process of the making of a woman’s body cast.
